We are thrilled to announce that the creation of This Is Northumberland 2023 is well underway & the next release of Northumberland’s independent publication is scheduled for November 20th this year.

After what has been a successful launch of the introductory edition of This Is Northumberland, we are delighted to confirm that the 2023 publication is currently in the works. We are excited to bring you another issue of unique stories, useful information and awe-inspiring photography to help aid your journey of discovery throughout Northumberland.

From idea conception in the midst of lockdown 3.0 to panicky deadline amendments in the small hours, the creation of 2022 was certainly a precipitous learning curve. The project has taken us to all corners of our home county where we were fortunate to access a window into the daily lives of some of the region’s most remarkable custodians, creatives, and curators who help make Northumberland such a special part of the world.

We are immensely proud of everyone involved in the making of the first issue and a special mention goes to our team of North East designers, writers, and photographers who we are honoured to be able to work alongside. We are forever in awe of your work and it enables us to tell the stories and share valuable information of our region in a way that wouldn’t be possible otherwise.

Thank you to everyone who has supported this project in any way. To those who have bought a copy, shared it with a loved one, or stocked a copy in your shop - it makes all the difference and enables us to continue the work we are immensely passionate about. We feel very fortunate to be in a position to work on another issue of This Is Northumberland and certainly don’t take it for granted.
